Remmie
Remmie is a very sweet boy, typical of a young aussie. He is fairly
quiet in the house; crates well (sleeps in crate); likes to play fetch
and tug, and enjoys chew toys. He is typically rambunctious outside,
including zoomies. For this reason, a fenced yard is best.

He is working on leash manners as he wants to sniff. When that
temptation is reduced, he does well on the leash. He will jump on
strangers. Recall is good, but he has not been beyond fenced yard
without a leash. He is very good in the car. Housebroken, although
initially he attempted some marking indoors.

He is somewhat velcro; I suspect this is due more to recent change than
a lack of confidence (which isn’t a problem). He is very smart and eager
to please. That intelligence needs to be properly managed.
He gets on very well with the resident dog and enjoys playing with her.
He has barked at some other dogs. Unsure about cats but he exhibits prey
drive (so far, towards waterfowl and squirrels…but not unmanageable).
He would do best in a home without children. He will be happiest in a
home where he will not be left alone for long periods, spending time
with a human who will engage him in games and other outlets for his
physical and mental energy and well-being. Remmie would enjoy agility or
another canine sport.
Remmie is fostered in Brevard, NC
